Maintains equipment, monitors inventory of medical supplies and assists with supply orders
Performs procedures under supervision of physician; bladder instillations, PTNS, Biofeedback, Sculpsure, Sola, Urinalysis, Bladder scan, Uroflow/PVR
Accurately documents all patient encounters, phone triage, test results and office visits
Collects and documents patient histories, vital signs, current medications, history of current illness and allergies
Responsible for providing a safe, HIPAA compliant environment for the patient and the staff
Participates in the continuous quality improvement process
Ability to organize and incorporate new routines, procedures and skills
Communicates changes in the patient's condition to the physician directing the care of the patient
Appropriately responds to emergency situations
Administers medications with accurate and appropriate dosing
Correctly collects, handles, and labels specimens
Prepares specimens for lab pickup
Adheres to Infection Control policies and procedures
Ensures quality patient care is provided to all patients
Maintains office cleanliness and sanitization
Stock and clean exam rooms and ensure all supplies are current and within expiration dates
Schedules patient appointments
Obtain prior authorizations for medications as necessary
Assist front office when necessary; answer calls, emails, voicemails and text messages, schedule appointments, handle incoming and outgoing faxes,  collect payment, request authorizations for office visits and outpatient testing, scanning and data entry
Provides patients with educational materials
Interfaces with provider in regards to medication refills, abnormal lab/radiology results, post op patients
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

Current LVN License from the State of California and BLS certification required
1 year experience preferred
Basic keyboarding skills, typing minimum of 60 WPM
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Patient focused
Superb attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Outstanding trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Able to work in a team environment
Ability to follow instructions
Knowledge of patient scheduling, insurance verification and authorization
Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes
